Singapore Dog Ownership Laws
It's prudent for dog owners in Singapore to be aware of the following laws.
- All dogs above 3 months of age must be licensed (licensing is necessary for rabies control). The licence can be obtained at www.ava.gov.sg or from AVA's Centre for Animal Welfare & Control at 75 Pasir Panjang Road.
- If you live in a HDB flat, you can keep at most one dog on the HDB-approved list. The approved dog breeds are as follows:
